Emerald Petals (“we”, “us”) is a florist based in Dublin, Ireland. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, place an order or hold a subscription, and how we protect it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.
What we collect
- Contact and delivery details you give us: name, email, phone, billing and delivery addresses, and any gift-note message.
- Order and subscription history, including your chosen theme and delivery preferences.
- Payment details, processed securely by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers.
- Technical data such as device, browser and how you use the site, collected through cookies (see our cookie policy).
How we use it
- To take, tie and deliver your orders, and to run your subscription.
- To contact you about an order, a delivery or a change to your plan.
- To improve the shop and, where you have opted in, to send occasional news about new bouquets.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Sharing
We share data only with the providers who help us operate: our delivery riders and couriers, our payment processor, and our IT and email providers. We never sell your personal information.
Keeping it safe and how long we hold it
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Access is limited to staff and providers who need it.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email hello@emeraldpetals.com. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
