These terms apply when you buy from Emerald Petals or hold a subscription with us. By placing an order you agree to them. Emerald Petals is a trading name of a business registered in Ireland.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. Occasionally we may decline or cancel an order, for example if a bouquet is unavailable or a delivery address is outside our area; if we do, we refund you in full.
Pricing and payment
- Prices are in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
- Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment provider.
- We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect an order already confirmed.
Subscriptions
- You choose a theme and a rhythm (fortnightly, monthly or a prepaid year). We select a hand-tied bouquet within your theme for each delivery.
- Recurring plans renew automatically each cycle until you pause or cancel. You can skip, change your theme, pause or cancel anytime from your account dashboard.
- Prepaid plans are paid up front and are non-refundable once the first bouquet has shipped, except where required by law.
Delivery
Delivery options, timings and charges are set out in our delivery and returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
Right to cancel
Flowers are perishable goods, so the usual 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to individual bouquet orders once they are being prepared. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time for future deliveries.
Our liability
We take care to describe and photograph bouquets accurately, though natural materials vary and exact stems may differ. We are not liable for delays outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and disputes are subject to the Irish courts.
